Capabilities

Maksteel provides a full range of slitting capabilities from light to heavy gauge across five slitting lines.

State-of-the-art equipment enables us to process thicknesses from 0.010" to 0.625" with incoming coil widths up to 72" wide.

Our equipment is set up with dual slitting heads which enables a quick production changeover.

The slitters are equipped with gamma ray technology allowing for continuous real time measurement of gauge thickness and histogram plotting of every coil.

Maksteel has a 200,000 sq. ft. warehouse for processing & staging to go along with 250,000 sq. ft. of outdoor storage for Hot Rolled Black Steel.

Our equipment and capacity enable us to process over 700,000 tons of material annually.
